Persuasion - Jane Austen This book, in comparison with other Austen I have read, is obviously more about the social strata of the 19th Century than anything else. The amusing telling in a high-class families plight in such a working-class world are delightfully told alongside the protagonist's, Anne, story.
The plot was slightly predictable, but anyone who reads Austen for the plots alone have not fully understood the importance of Austen as a 19th Century novelist.
